Camera privacy: Head camera analysis is fully opt-in. If you enable it, your front camera video is processed entirely on your device using the MediaPipe AI library. No video frames, images, or facial data are ever transmitted to our servers or any third party. Only the computed numerical head tremor score and frequency are optionally saved with your measurement results (same as sensor data).

We do NOT collect GPS/location data, contacts, or microphone access.

2. How We Use Your Data

Provide tremor analysis and measurement history
Enable account login and data synchronization
Send measurement reports to healthcare providers (only when you explicitly request this)
Improve the accuracy of our analysis algorithms (anonymized, aggregated data only)

We do not use your data for advertising, and we do not share personal data with third parties except as required by law.

3. Data Storage & Security

If you use the app without an account, all data is stored locally on your device using localStorage. No data leaves your device.

If you create an account, your data is stored on our servers secured with:

HTTPS encryption for all data in transit
bcrypt password hashing (no plain-text passwords stored)
Database-level access controls and prepared statements

4. Your Rights

You have the right to:

Access all data we hold about you
Export your measurement history as PDF
Delete individual measurements or your entire account
Correct inaccurate personal information
Withdraw consent and stop using the service at any time

5. Cookies & Local Storage

We use browser localStorage (not cookies) to store your theme preference and last measurement result locally. No tracking cookies are used. No third-party analytics are embedded.

6. Health Data Sensitivity

We understand that tremor and neurological data is sensitive health information. We treat it with the highest level of care. This data is never sold, never used for advertising, and is only accessible by you and those you explicitly choose to share it with (e.g., your doctor via the report feature).
