1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using TremorCheck ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the App.

2. Description of Service

TremorCheck is an informational screening tool that uses your smartphone's accelerometer to analyze movement patterns. The App:

• Collects accelerometer data during measurement sessions
• Applies Fast Fourier Transform (FFT) analysis to estimate tremor frequency and amplitude
• Provides a numerical score for informational purposes only
• Optionally uses the front-facing camera to analyze head tremor (opt-in only, fully on-device — no video is ever uploaded)
• Optionally stores results in your account for trend tracking

When you enable the optional Head Camera Analysis feature, you grant TremorCheck temporary access to your device's front-facing camera solely for the purpose of on-device AI analysis during the measurement session. No video, images, or biometric facial data are stored or transmitted.

3. Medical Disclaimer

TremorCheck is not a medical device and is not approved or cleared by any regulatory authority (including the FDA, CE, or equivalent). The App:

• Does NOT diagnose Parkinson's disease or any other medical condition
• Does NOT replace consultation with a qualified neurologist or physician
• Cannot detect all forms of tremor or movement disorders
• May produce inaccurate results depending on device, placement, and conditions

Always consult a licensed healthcare professional for medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. In case of medical emergency, call emergency services immediately.

4. User Responsibilities

You agree to:

• Use the App for informational and personal monitoring purposes only
• Not rely on App results for medical decisions without professional consultation
• Keep your account credentials secure and confidential
• Provide accurate information when creating an account
• Not attempt to reverse-engineer or misuse the App

5. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, TremorCheck and its developers shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App, including but not limited to reliance on measurement results for medical decisions.

6. Account and Data

If you create an account, you are responsible for maintaining the security of your credentials. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. You may request deletion of your account and data at any time by contacting us.

7. Modifications

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
